This Privacy Policy explains how Tabo (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile marketplace for Filipino communities. Tabo helps neighbors discover local shops and services, place orders, and pay using familiar local payment methods. This policy describes how data is handled across customer, seller, and admin experiences.

Information We Collect

  • Account & profile: information you provide such as name, contact details, role (customer, seller, admin), and profile settings.
  • Listings & store data: product/service listings, store profile data, pricing, stock, and coverage settings submitted by sellers.
  • Order & payment data: orders, fulfillment method, address selections, payment method choices (e.g. GCash, Maya, bank transfer, COD), and payment proof uploads when applicable.
  • Address & location data: saved PH address details (city, province, barangay) to support near-you discovery and delivery/service coverage checks.
  • Device & usage data: app logs, diagnostics, and analytics data used to secure and improve the platform.

How We Use It

  • To operate marketplace features for buyers, sellers, and admins.
  • To process orders, service bookings, and payment workflows.
  • To support chat and customer-seller communication.
  • To enforce moderation, resolve reports, and prevent abuse.
  • To improve features such as analytics dashboards and recommendations.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us run the app, such as hosting, analytics, messaging, storage, and support tools. We may also share information to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, enforce policies, and protect users and the platform.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide services, run marketplace operations, and meet legal and security requirements. Retention periods may differ by data type (for example, account, order, payment, moderation, and compliance records).

Your Choices

  • Access / update: review and update account and profile information.
  • Delete: request account deletion subject to legal, fraud-prevention, and record-keeping obligations.
  • Notifications: manage notification and chat-related preferences in-app.
